Dr. Mark Robinson is the Sr. Director for the IPPD and the founder of Personal Player Development, LLC. He has worked with athletes throughout the globe and is considered by many a pioneer in his efforts to assist the athletic community in understanding the issues and challenges athletes encounter along the athletic journey. In addition, he authored the book, Athletic Identity, Invisible and Invincible: The Personal Development of the athlete.

Marvin Burton Cornish, Jr. is the owner of the Cornish Group, LLC; a company focused on character and player development. He is also on the football staff of the Bowie State University Bulldogs. "Cornish" serves as the Character Development and Education Coordinator for the Bulldogs, where his main duties and passion are cultivating the student-athlete's personal growth through character development, honing their decision-making and leadership skills, and coaching them on how to develop their personal brand.

Elaine Pasqua is one of the most dynamic and popular speakers on sexual assault, high-risk drinking, and sexual health in the United States today. Over the last 19 years her high-energy programs have been presented to over 400,000 collegiate athletes, students, high school students, and parents nationwide. She has worked with the NFL, the NBA, and numerous professional teams. Elaine is the author of #Mom I Got This: Building Your Legacy In College and Beyond.

Camala Beek is a former Division ll volleyball player who self promoted and branded herself into international success; landing a sports marketing internship after college in Germany and then continuing her professional career abroad for five years in PR and athletics. She independently works as a professional marketing and branding specialist, with an emphasis on personal branding and athletes and is based out of Tampa, Florida.

Dr. Donald English is a licensed psychologist, and Associate Director of Clinical Services for the University Counseling Center at Florida State University. He holds a Ph.D. in counseling psychology from the University of Memphis and a M.S. in clinical psychology from Loyola University, Maryland. Dr. English has over 16 years of professional experience providing clinical consultation, assessment, psychotherapy and psycho-educational services for adult and adolescent populations which includes athletes.

Dr. Steven N. Waller is an associate professor in the Sport Management Program in the Department of Kinesiology, Recreation, & Sport Studies at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Dr. Waller holds terminal degrees from Michigan State University, and United Theological Seminary in Dayton Ohio. He also teaches in the Doctor of Ministry program (sport chaplaincy) at UTS. His research interests include religious beliefs as a constraint to sport and leisure participation, impediments to carrier mobility for minorities in sport organizations, institutional evil in sport organizations, and professional identity and credentialing of sport chaplains.

Dr. Marcus Amos is the founder of Prevention Education for Athletes. He is one of the leading educators and advocates for prescription drug education in sports. His research interests include assessing the need for more education addressing prescription drug use among student-athletes, and developing more preventive measures to address this problem. Dr. Amos has lectured at several colleges, universities, and conferences, focusing on his research interest and addressing other topics in sports, on regional, national, and international levels. Dr. Amos has provided expert consultation to HBO Real Sports, ESPN Outside the Lines, ABC News, CNN, 60 Minutes, Sports Illustrated, Direct TV, and several other media integers.

DeQawn Mobley is an ex-collegiate Division I football player atTexas A&M, and also had a brief experience with the New York Jets. He obtained his MBA from Webster University, and currently teaches in the undergraduate Arts &Sciences and Business Administration programs at Webster University in Thailand.

Susan Salzbrenner is the owner of Fit Across Cultures, a business that focuses on providing resources that develop intercultural competence in athletes and coaches and that support a sustainable career path. The native German is a certified Intercultural Trainer and has many years of experience coaching and training in multinational corporations and the sports industry. In 2013-14, she conducted a research project with professional athletes playing abroad to examine challenges and transition management strategies. Susan has been working and living in six countries on four continents

Malik Wade is the founder and Executive Director of the Scholastic Interest Group's mentoring program for student-athletes in San Francisco, CA. He has been invited to speak at the Stanford Law School, Cal Berkeley, San Francisco State, and several high schools throughout the country. Mr. Wade served a 14-year sentence in federal prison for drug and weapons charges. He is an expert in the field of “Crime and the Athlete.”

Dr. Kristina Navarro serves in a dual role as an Assistant Professor in the College of Education and Professional Studies and as the Director of Student-Athlete Engagement for Warhawk Athletics at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. In this role she oversees the Higher Education Athletic Administration Program housed in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. She also oversees the Warhawk Leadership Academy, a comprehensive developmental program and curriculum for student-athletes.

Cynthia Johnson is an entrepreneur, marketing professional, author and keynote speaker. She was Managing Partner & Director of Marketing for RankLab, a digital marketing agency listed in Inc. Magazine's Fastest Growing Private Companies in 2015. In July of 2015 RankLab was acquired by AAC Holdings, Inc. and Cynthia is now their Director of Brand Development. She is the Editorial Director and a member on the Global Board of Directors for Social Media Club, a member of YEC (Young Entrepreneurs Council). Cynthia is an author and a contributing columnist for Entrepreneur, Search Engine Journal, Startup Grind, Business2Community, and others.Cynthia is a professional with 8 years of diverse work experience in entertainment, marketing and digital advertising. She has work experience in both corporate companies as well as small tech startups. She has been involved on social media and viral campaigns for Levi’s, Vans, Chevy, Susan G. Komen, Peta2 and Maker Studios. She has also consulted on campaigns for Here Media, West Management Group and several other startup ecommerce brands. She is knowledgeable in social media marketing for SEO, viral campaign strategy, branding, reputation management and community building.

Annette Lynch is a 2000 Olympian in the sport of Beach Volleyball and the Author of Success beyond Sport - How to Retire from Sport and Keep Winning. Annette is a certified Master Results Coach and Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner and Trainer. Based in Hawaii, she is the author of Success Beyond Sport – How to Retire From Sport and Keep Winning. Annette uses her natural coaching and training skills in both live and virtual environments. She mentors professional athletes who are preparing for retirement and who share her passion, mindset, and techniques for life-long achievement.

Dr. Stephany C. Coakley is a sport psychology consultant and the founder/director of Maximum Mental Training Associates, a performance psychology consulting business. Her specializations include sport career transition, injury and rehabilitation, body image, positive youth development through sport and physical activity, and minorities in sport. Dr. Coakley is also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, LCPC), a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), and a member of the United States Olympic Committee Sport Psychology and Mental Training Registry.

Dr. Tommy Shavers

Dr. Tommy Shavers is the president of Tommy Speak LLC., and the Lead Consultant and Co-Founder of Atlas Group Advisors. He’s a member of the NeuroLeadership Institute and a board member of the Sports Conflict Institute. Dr. Shavers is a contributing author to Linked2Leadership, one of the nation’s top leadership blogs. A former professor; Dr. Shavers holds a B.A. in Organizational Communication, M.A. in Interpersonal Communication, M.A. in Biblical Studies, and a DM in Organizational Leadership. He’s the author of The Next CEO: A Leadership Parable and the creator of the Power Tolerance Theory™, P Factor ™ Program, and the Hi-R Cognitive Performance Model™. Dr. Shavers is a recognized expert on leadership, sports culture, and behavior; with published works on status power and athlete behavior.

Eric Smith is the founder and owner of The EKS Group, LLC ( aka The Financial Literacy Coach), the first ever financial literacy speaking company to be included on the NCAA’s Speaker Registry. Eric has shared his financial education programs to thousands of collegiate student athletes all across the country including schools such as Michigan State, Wisconsin, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Miami, Pittsburgh, Boston College, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, USC, Arizona State, Memphis, Clark Atlanta and many more. He has also taught at many NFL rookie camps including the Miami Dolphins, Seattle Seahawks, Denver Broncos, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tennessee Titans, Indianapolis Colts and Carolina Panthers. Eric was an invited presenter at the NCAA- NFL Life Skills Summit, the NCAA Leadership Forum, and the 2013 NBA Draft Program. Eric has also taught financial success programs for many of the NBA D League teams. Eric will provide course content on Financial Literacy and Money Management for the athlete.
